KSrelief Delivers Medical Aid, Food, and Shelter to Vulnerable Worldwide

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to extend critical humanitarian support to vulnerable communities worldwide.

According to the report, In Kenya, a KSrelief volunteer medical team successfully performed 28 cochlear implant surgeries for children in a single day. 

The team also provided speech and language rehabilitation and held educational sessions for the children’s families.

In Syria, 650 clothing bags were distributed to orphaned children in Al-Bab, Afrin, and Akhtarin in Aleppo governorate. 

Each bag contained new clothes tailored to various age groups, aiming to meet the children’s needs and lift their spirits.

In Jordan, KSrelief had concluded its 30th voluntary campaign at the Zaatari refugee camp where 12 medical volunteers had treated 1,141 patients. 

Over the course of a week, services included dermatology, gynecology, oncology, pediatrics, family medicine and physical therapy.

The agency also provided 176 shelter bags and 45 tents in the Shihr district of Hadramout governorate, benefiting 1,056 individuals in Yemen.

In Sudan, KSrelief also provided 1,660 food baskets in Ad-Daba, Northern State, benefitting 9,960 displaced and needy families

Since its establishment in May 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,393 humanitarian projects worth nearly $7.9 billion across 106 countries, in collaboration with over 309 partner organizations.
